Choreography

No preparation necessary. Students will learn a short dance combination together during the audition.
Vocal

Students will learn and sing a short selection from Frozen Jr. as a group.

If your child would like to be considered for a lead role with a solo (Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Hans, Olaf, Young Anna, or Young Elsa), they must prepare and perform the provided audition cut(s) for those roles by memory.

Students may present one or two audition cuts if they wish to be considered for multiple lead roles.

​Disney’s Frozen JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2013 Disney animated film Frozen, featuring music and lyrics by the award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, with a book by Jennifer Lee. The story follows the two royal sisters of Arendelle: Elsa, who secretly possesses magical ice powers she struggles to control, and Anna, the fearless and optimistic younger sister who longs to reconnect with her. When Elsa’s powers accidentally plunge the kingdom into an eternal winter, Anna sets off on a daring adventure to find her sister and save their home. Along the way, she is joined by rugged ice harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and the lovable snowman Olaf. Featuring memorable songs such as “Let It Go,” “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?,” and “For the First Time in Forever,” Frozen JR. brings the magical world of Arendelle to life on stage in a heartwarming story about sisterhood, courage, and the power of true love. - Music Theatre International
